Results

During this long-term project we developed several official results and published them right here:

A Strategy Paper on Green Youth Work: this publication gathers knowledge, perspectives and concrete methods from different corners of Europe. We combined academic research and practical examples from local youth work from the consortium members with an assembly of methods and tools for “Green Youth Work”.

The publication is intended to be useful for youth workers, trainers, educators, organisations and also actors from the formal educational sector, like schools and teachers, who want to integrate non-formal working methods into their daily work or during project days. It should serve as a recommendation and inspiration.

An E-Magazine: There are many newspapers or online publications that cover environmental topics. But we couldn’t identify any that is a transnational product of the joint work of young people from four different countries.

The “Climate Ambassadors” of each country wrote articles, conducted interviews with activists or political stakeholders, reported about environemental challenges in their community or shared guidelines on how to upcycle. We published four editions of the magazine online. It should be a source of information for the reader but also a source of inspiration.

Sustainable Days: how to better raise awareness and create visibility than by organising a huge public event in all participating countries? They had the character of a Fair: there were a Keynote Speeches and a Presentation of the Overall Project, the Partner Consortium and the Erasmus+ Programme.

We hosted workshops for Kids how to upcycle, how to save water, how to create a cultivation box, etc. The Strategy Paper was presented during a designated Workshop to Youth Workers and Trainers/Teachers. There were Clothes Swapping Party, Music and Dance Performances, Games and a Panel Discussion about relevant topic in the community with relevant actors (environmental activists, political decision makers, media representatives, teachers and trainers from the formal and non-formal sector, etc.).
